  Financial Assistance

Needy students of the full-time programmes may apply for government grant and/or loan under the Local Student Finance Scheme administered by the Student Financial Assistance Agency. This is a means-tested scheme. The grant is to cover tuition fees, academic expenses and mandatory Student Union dues, while the loan is for living expenses. Students may also apply for a Non-means-tested Loan Scheme which is solely used to settle tuition fees. Bursaries, interest-free loan and emergency funds are also available for students who face financial hardship due to unforeseen circumstances or contingencies.
