This research paper aims to explore the changes of shopping consumption patterns and acceptance of electronic payment system among full-time undergraduate university students in EdUHK. Three key elements of shopping consumption patterns were focused for concise analysis the changes, which are major places of shopping, payment methods and delivery methods of shopping. Besides, the perceptions and reasons affecting the uses of electronic payment system were also examined in this paper. The inquiry was analysis the fact of changing shopping consumption patterns, why there would be such kinds of changes and how different kinds of reasons affecting students perception of electronic payment system. This study adopted a comprehensive online questionnaire to examine the target respondents views and opinions on these issues, it contained both closed-ended and open-ended questions for indepth analysis. The results of this paper suggest that young people are more willing to shop online, using a variety kind of payment methods in shopping and very concerned about the risk and fee related to the delivery services provided by the retailer. Moreover, a slightly positive perception towards electronic payment system and concern the most about the security and privacy issue involved in the system. This paper concluded by providing some suggestions and implications towards related stakeholders, such as online retailers and businessmen
