Description:
This study aims to explore the attitudes of pre-service teachers towards global education and to analyse how they understand the core values of global education. The study adopted a quantitative research approach, collecting data from 67 pre-service teachers from different backgrounds online. The attitudinal survey uses the Likert point scale to collect data. Descriptive statistical analysis shows that pre-service teachers have a positive attitude towards global education. There are three factors affect their attitude toward global education, the frequency of paying attention to international issues, cross-cultural experience and participation in relevant training. In addition, pre-service teachers lack knowledge of the practical and action aspects of global education. The research results provide a reference mechanism for the training of futurepre-service teachers. However, the scale of this survey is relatively small, and future research can expand the scale to improve the representativeness of the research results.
